Gosh. I am seriously impressed.
I will always be grateful to the former conservator at Hackney, the late Jacqueline Bradshaw price for entertaining my children on the rare occasions I needed to bring them in for short periods. When I had to come in for an emergency call out from the fire brigade to deal with water ingress to the strong room - and with no other staff member present - I had to restrain my son from causing minor mayhem with searchroom leaflets and document supports.
Both children have great careers beckoning - but not in heritage....

Growing up, my children helped in all kinds of ways, from making an introductory video, to scanning, moving and labelling boxes, picking up archives, recording oral histories, watching videos for content, duplicating recordings, labelling and helping create exhibitions and displays...
