We've also been approached about this. We have some concerns (mainly relating to the fact that we use Beckman Troponin I and results are not interchangeable) and are trying to arrange a meeting with the A&E lead researcher. I'll try and let you know what the outcome is,

Subject: BEST Trial - iStat TnI
Hi to you all
I was wondering if any Trusts out there are currently using the iStat in the EDs for TnI results, and if anyone is participating in (or has participated in) the BEST trial. The ED are making some enquiries at the moment with regards to this trial and the possibility of introducing the iStat for TnI analysis in place of the AQT 90 that is currently in use.
If anyone can share their experiences or offer any advice it would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards
