Dear All,
The AKI algorithm in iSOFTs APEX LIMS will not allow us to withold null results (AKI=0). It would be helpful if people could share any interpretative comment they're issuing / planning to issue with null results.
Thanks in anticipation,

We are aware that some laboratories are reporting null results ("0") for the AKI warning stage result without an interpretive comment
This is potentially dangerous and is poor practice. The best practice document (link below) suggests that, ideally, null results should not be reported.
If this is not possible, a clear interpretive comment, preferably agreed with service users, should accompany the report containing a null result.
