Hi Debbie
We do have assessments that take place during class times these are run by the module leader, the exams office will obtain external moderation and print the exam papers.
We do not have procedural policy at present the responsibility lies between the disability support department to advise the module leader and for the module leader to make the necessary arrangements.
I would be grateful to receive collated responses.
Many thanks

Subject: Time Constrained Assessments (TCAs)
Dear Colleagues
At UEL, we provide formal examinations that are scheduled centrally during specified exams periods in our academic calendar and we also provide time constrained assessments which are usually held during the teaching term and organised by the module leader locally.
We are looking to produce a procedural policy or guidance on time constrained assessments as currently they lack any real definition and governance. I wondered if other institutions held similar in class assessments and had a governance document that you may be willing to share please.
Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.
With best wishes,
Debbie
