Dear SRN members,
The Network European Cinema and Media Studies has just published a Call
for Papers for the next conference at University of Łódź, Poland. Please
see attached Call for Papers.
The conference will take place from 18th to 20th June 2015, and the SRN
Executive would like to encourage submissions from screenwriting
researchers. Please contact the NECS direct if you are interested.
Panels are also welcome, and the SRN Executive would consider specifically
supporting a panel proposal which reflects screenwriting research. If you
would like to organise a panel, please contact me in the first instance,
and we will discuss our support.
The timescale is quite tight; the deadline for submitting a panel is
January 31st 2015. Below is the relevant section from the Call for Papers:

"PRECONSTITUTED PANELS
We support the submission of pre-constituted panel proposals in order to
strengthen the thematic coherence of individual panels. We would like to
strongly encourage members of the NECS workgroups to put together a
pre-constituted panel but we also welcome submissions from academic
project teams, museums, galleries and other institutions wishing to share
their experience in the area of archives of/for the future. Panels may
consist of 3-4 speakers from at least two different academic affiliations
and preferably from two or more different countries with a maximum of 20
minutes speaking time each. Panel organisers are asked to submit panel
proposals including a panel title, a short description (up to 100 words)
of the panel and information on all the papers, as listed above."

Please don't hesitate to contact me/us for further questions.

Kind regards
Claus Tieber
