Dear colleagues,
 
Further to Unit4’s announcement about pFACT end of life (posted 13th Nov to this list), and the user group meeting held at Greenwich University (11th Nov), I am concerned that we (Sussex), have not heard anything further.
 
Clearly, for those of us who will still need short/medium term support we need to move soon and consider the other support options offered (Alan Bates and Ray Mitchell) but this will be closely tied to the options that Unit4 outlined at the user group meeting heldon 11th November. 
At this meeting, I had understood that Unit4 would be contacting each institution to confirm the arrangements – from the slides, the following:
 
"We are open to discuss possibility of providing customers source code. Time limited to Sept 2016 
We will want you to sign an agreement NOT to resell solution or provide support services" 
 
We have heard nothing to date so I was wondering:
 
1)      Have any of you received anything yet?
2)      Or based on the above from their presentation, do you think that Unit4 expect us individually to contact them to take forward?
