Dear List Members,
Can anyone recommend any critical/theoretical works that discuss the experience of the co-existence of different currents of time in certain places - particularly those thought of as being 'wild' (but rural/urban perspectives would be interesting too)? It's a phenomenon I've come across in several literary works I'm studying and would I like to explore it further. I'm aware of David Abram's concept of 'environing space' but wondered if there is something more specifically oriented to non-linear time.
Many thanks,
Pippa
