Second call for sponsored sessions:
The Gender and Feminist Geography Research Group (GFGRG) invites proposals for sponsored sessions at the RGS-IBG Annual International Conference 2015 in Exeter (2nd - 4th September 2015).
The conference theme this year is "Geographies of the Anthropocene", chaired by Professor Sarah Whatmore.

Proposals should include
(i) Title of session
(ii) Name of Co-sponsoring groups, if applicable and details of status of sponsorship application (ie. applied, agreed)
(iii) Name and Contact Details for Session Convenors
(iv) Abstract, outlining scope of session - 200 words max.
(v) Number of session timeslots that are sought - this year session may not normally occupy more than 2 time slots. If requesting 2 slots please provide justification.
(vi) Indication of session format. Sessions last 1 hr 40 mins, e.g. 4 x 20min presentation, plus 20min discussion; 5 x 15min presentation, with 5 min question for each presenter. Creative formats welcome.
(vii) Indication of any non-standard arrangements, please note there will not be support for Skype or other forms of distance participation at AC2015. However, individual session organisers are welcome to incorporate presentations in this format into their sessions if they feel confident they can do so within the IT setup provided (all rooms will have laptop, projector, screen, speakers and internet connection).
(viii) Any other information you wish to include to support your session eg. the development of an inclusive participation strategy across career levels or the inclusion of non-academic presenters (please note research group passes will be available through a competitive application process in Spring 2015).
