Applications are sought for a two year part time Research Fellow post to work on a major comparative study of inequalities in child welfare services in the 4 UK countries funded by the Nuffield Foundation. Led by Professor Paul Bywaters, the project is based in the newly formed Centre for Communities and Social Justice at Coventry University and involves a collaboration across 7 UK universities. The role requires expertise in quantitative data gathering and analysis. Candidates are sought with an interest in child welfare and social inequalities, and a background in a relevant social science discipline. Although initially part time, opportunities for extending and increasing the post are likely to become available as the Centre develops.
