one other though Ravi, have you looked in the windows log viewer right after a crash there ought to be be something like

in there (This is just an example that I grabbed off the web). For example in this case the problem is an access violation c0000005 i.e. the program is accessing memory not allocated to it
Other questions and suggestions
1. does the computer have enough memory to load the project being loaded
2. do you know anyone with a linux computer, can they load the project
3. do you see a console when you start ccpn on windows if so are there any errors before the crash
4. .installing and running Fault handler (http://faulthandler.readthedocs.org/en/latest/) may help you track the location of the fault…

A few helpful pointers
1. The docx attached appears to be clean and kosher just to let people
know who might worried about viruses
2. The error has the text 'CCPNMR..., has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will
close the program and notify you if a solution was available'
3. can you say what you were doing at the time of the crash Ravi, is
this a one off error or one you have seen multiple times?
4. can you say what version of ccpn you were running?
5. If we need to I have found an article which describes how to disable
this dialogue and allow a crash report to be created...
