Jayne, in our hospital we sit as a separate department within pathology reporting directly to the pathology business manager. We used to be part of biochemistry reporting to their manager, but as more non-chemistry PoCT was introduced we changed our internal organisational structure.

Subject: Where does POCT sit?
Hello,
We are currently looking at where POCT sits in the Pathology organisational structure and I would appreciate feedback as to who the POCT Co-ordinator reports to and where the 'section' is placed in your Pathology Department.
Many thanks
