Bunting was visiting Prof at Binghamton for one year. All most of us
knew was a name, Briggflats. No one had read it. Bunting surely needed a
year of steady income. I don't know how we snagged him. Apparently he
was difficult and challenging to follow. He'd storm up and down the hall
in a fisherman's knit sweater with a permanent scowl. We were mostly all
afraid of him.
