APOLOGIES FOR CROSS POSTING
Dear all
Announcing our third NetworkED for the 2014/15 academic year, we are welcoming Marieke Guy to the LSE on Wednesday 26th November at 5pm. Marieke will discuss ‘open data in education’. Data is very much the flavour of the month, from discussions around data mining and monetisation of data, to privacy issues and monitoring. Marieke Guy will give an overview of the situation as it now stands and prompt us to consider what the implications are for those of us working in Education.
The event is free to attend and places can be reserved via the staff training and development system or by emailing [log in to unmask]
All our talks are live streamed onto our blog and website and recorded for those who can’t make it. For more information check out our blog and have a look at previous talks on our YouTube channel.
