medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
In the "official" list of bishops of Verona (Italy) found in the web it appears Sigebertus or Sigibertus (circa 744) intitled as saint. I have looked over many books (ancient and actual) about the veronese bishopric and saints without finding the source of that title. Does anyone of you know where the "saintity" title of this bishop comes from?
