The Place of British Film
The Research Centre for Film, Media, Discourse and Culture at the University of Wolverhampton is hosting a guest talk by Professor Roger Shannon FRSA (Birmingham City University and Edge Hill) entitled The Place of British Film on Thursday 20 November 5.30 - 7pm in MC001 University of Wolverhampton, Millennium City Building, Wulfruna Street, Wolverhampton, WV1 1LY.
Professor Shannon began his career in the British film industry producing and working on a number of feature films including Festival, Butterfly Kiss and Under The Skin and has worked with ground breaking talents including Jimmy McGovern, Michael Winterbottom and Frank Cottrell Boyce. Professor Shannon’s productions have won awards at International Film Festivals such as Cannes, Toronto, Sundance, Edinburgh and Berlin.
