Hello,
Yes we had the same problems last night. I contacted Dawsonera and it resolved itself. But looking at it now, it isn't working again so I will be back onto the phone to them.
Kind regards, Paul.

Hello from Derby - we are seeing the same problems here, except that we don't even see the symbols for download or read on line. This is when following links from within our catalogue. If we try to access the site from the link under our Electronic Book Collections we get to a sort of home page from which you can't do anything at all. I thought the Dawsonera problems were well on the way to being resolved but it seems not. I'll be emailing them immediately as we are getting lots of complaints from students, understandably of course.
regards
Val

Subject: DawsonERA issues tonight?
***Apologies for cross posting***
Hi All,
We've just found that about 90% of our owned eBooks on DawsonERA have become unavailable to users. When we look at the catalogue of owned items rather than displaying the green open padlock and offering download options we’re getting the purple closed padlock and only options to rent or suggest purchase (within the admin interface the titles are all still showing as owned)
I’ve put an urgent email into Dawson’s to find out what’s going on, but as I’ve not seen anyone else mentioning it on any mailing lists today I’m wondering if it’s just us.
Is there anyone else with this problem?
Thanks in advance
Tom
