*Description:* Are you a researcher with experience in global-scale geodynamic modelling or palaeomagnetism?
This is a great opportunity for you to undertake research in geodynamic modelling or palaeomagnetism within
the global tectonics and geodynamics research group, and have membership to both the Institute for Geoscience
Research (TIGeR) and ARC Centre of Excellence for Core to Crust Fluid Systems (CCFS).

To be considered for the position as a geodynamic modeller, you need to demonstrate significant experience
in numerical modelling of mantle convection using CitcomS and/or other well-benchmarked mantle convection
software packages. For appointment as a palaeomagnetist, you need demonstrated research expertise in
palaeomagnetism and global palaeogeographic reconstruction. Ability toconduct fieldwork in remote areas is a
requirement. A doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline along with evidence of research outputs in high
quality referred journals and high level communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
