I visually compared dw-images before and after eddy. They look similar, only the frontal parts (the distorted regions) look a bit blurry after the correction. The noisiest regions after correction (midbrain and cerebellum) don't look that different. I also didn't noticed any outlier volumes.
Only for the sake of completeness: the data was measured on a Siemens PRISMA(fit), with a 64 channel head-neck coil and 1.5mm isotropic resolution.
And yes, the 0.62 was just a typo. We used the same readout time for all our data.
