Assessment Tomorrow 7th e-Vocational One-Day Conference
19th November 2014 – Hilton Leeds City see www.e-vocational.co.uk.
“Responding to FELTAG – Technology and the Future Requirements for Assessment and Qualifications”
The aim of the Further Education Learning Technology Action Group (FELTAG) was to identify obstacles preventing further education providers taking full advantage of technology. The group’s recommendations were designed to remove these obstacles, and encourage the further education system towards the digital future expected by learners and employers. The response by BIS firmly placed technology at the heart of vocational education and qualifications for the foreseeable future.

This one day conference will focus on the effective use of technology in learning and e-assessment in Vocational, Technical and Professional Qualifications, Education and Training. It looks at how technology can deliver benefits for the learner, provider, sector and awarding organisation, in an efficient, cost-effective, risk-managed and responsive way. With speakers from awarding bodies, providers and suppliers it should proof a fascinating review of approaches to the issues unearthed by the FELTAG recommendations
Come along and help us examine some of these profound changes and the impact they are having on both formative and summative assessment. The fee for the conference is £190 per delegate + VAT. Bookings can be made online at www.e-vocational.co.uk.
We trust you or one of your colleagues will be able to join us for what will certainly prove to be an invaluable and thought-provoking event.
