Nick Draper, co-director of the *Structure and Significance of British
Slave-Ownership* project at UCL, will talk about the place of Jamaica in
the context of the UCL's work on British colonial slave-ownership as a
whole. Kate Donington, a Research Associate and Jamaica specialist in the
UCL project, will describe a specific case study, George Hibbert.
This talk is one of an open series organised by the Friends of the Georgian
