The Aquatic Biodiversity and Ecosystems: Evolution, Interactions and Global Change meeting is a conference for aquatic scientists (both marine and freshwater) with a focus on evolution, interactions and long-term change - particularly how these shape patterns of biodiversity and the relationships between biodiversity and ecosystem functioning. The scope is deliberately broad encompassing natural and highly modified habitats in both marine and freshwater aquatic systems. Ecology and Evolutionary Biology are the key focus, but the meeting also caters for an interdisciplinary approach to studying and managing aquatic ecosystems, especially unravelling local and regional scale impacts from global climate driven change!
We attach a conference poster with dates and details. Please print and display it around your various institutions, and please forward this email to anyone you think might be interested.
For those of you travelling from further afield who may wish to attend multiple meetings in the same trip, the following meetings are also being held elsewhere in the UK and Europe:
· 23-27 Aug 2015, 6th World Conference on Restoration, Manchester, http://www.ser2015.org
· 23-28 Aug 2015, European Phycological Congress, London, http://www.epc6.org
· 6-9 Sept 2015, Estuarine Coastal & Shelf Association Meeting, London, http://www.estuarinecoastalconference.com
· 19-26 Sept 2015, European Marine Biology Symposium, Germany
We hope to see you in Liverpool in 2015.
