Collection and Exhibitions Assistant
Newcastle upon Tyne
£14,551- £16,985 plus pension benefits
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Collection and Exhibitions team at Seven Stories, where you will gain wide-ranging experience in collections care, documentation, and exhibitions, supporting the implementation of our Heritage Lottery Fund Collecting Cultures acquisition programme. You will be passionate about working in museums/archives/libraries and have a keen interest in children’s books. You will be reliable and well-organised. Relevant volunteering or work experience and a commitment to pursuing a career in museums/archives/libraries are essential and a qualification in museums studies/archives administration or equivalent is desirable, though not essential. The post is funded for three years.
