At Manchester in the Faculty of Humanities we centrally supported Blackboard's own wiki but with the perennial issue of being able to archive wiki content or open it up for external access. On the MA DTCE students were encouraged to find and setup their own collaborative teaching spaces with a strong nod at Wikispaces, which we ended up using.
Hope this helps, Will

Subject: Student wikis
Hello everyone
Following on from our interesting discussions in Lancaster about the range of TEL tools that you offer, I have been wondering what you use for student wikis? There is a wiki function in Moodle but it doesn't seem to be possible to export or archive from there. Or is it?
Thanks
Kate
