NHS England has received information suggesting that some Roche Swisslab users regard the 9th June safety notice which describes the requirement to use the NHS England AKI algorithm and data transmission to the UK renal registry, as advisory only. This is not the case. A level 3 safety notice is a directive. Any Trust's governance/risk management procedures will recognise this.
