I like this very much.
Could be a long-married couple who carry burdens and disagreements and yet meet together on at least one point, like faith or attending church or something similar.
Or, politically, it could be the differences between two parties or views that find a place, even a small place to agree, perhaps one speech or one opinion point.

Subject: Here Is
Here is who I am and what you are
distends all referendum
on finesse that channels
chattel, thus
the pitfalls loom,
because we think
that way, and
I regret to say
the homily we are about
to hear will wear out
and eventually
wear us home. All winter
turns to referendum
on the statements
we would chant in sync
synthetically at least once.
