Hi,
I was interested to see that Wakefield is to create a fund for
future Part 2A remediation works:
Wakefield to fund Part 2A
remediation works: Wakefield Council has decided to set aside £750,000
for remediation of any sites identified by its Part 2A inspection
programme in the wake of the government’s decision to cease capital
grants funding. http://www.eaonsite.com/news/contaminated-land/wakefield-to-fund-part-2a-remediation-works
The article makes interesting reading and I just wondered if anyone
was aware of any other councils that had taken such a strategic view of
Part 2A inspections, I had assumed most would just soldier on hoping
for the best.
