Dear Helen,
If you want do it within SPM providing you have an image whose voxel
dimension is 2x2x2, you can do it with Coregister(Reslice).
1. Select "Coregister (Reslice)"
2. Specify the image which your mask image coregister to as "Image
Defining Space."
3. Specify your mask image as "Images to Reslice."
4. Set the Interpolation to "Nearest neighbour" so that the resliced
mask remains binary. (You don't get any 0.5s)
5. You can leave other parameters as default.
Then you will get the resized mask image beginning with "r"; i.e. the
resized "mask.nii" will be "rmask.nii".
Hope this helps,
Kiyotaka
