Hello Just a reminder that we have an event in Exeter, Devon on 31 October dedicated to practical and creative uses of digital technologies in museums and galleries. A couple of highlights are a key note from Nick Poole and a preview of Chris Watson's latest digital audio work. If you haven't heard of Chris you may well have heard his work on Radio 4 or Richard Attenborough's programmes or one of Chris’s installations around the country. He has promised an audio surprise using our speakers that can generate a sound wave! Full details on the event page: http://bit.ly/MMswdigital And there's cake of course... Hope to see you there! Rick PS We’re only two hours from London and Devon’s a great place for a visit Rick Lawrence | Digital Media Officer Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery | Bradninch Offices | Bradninch Place | Gandy Street | Exeter | EX4 3LS (t) 01392 265303 (e) [log in to unmask] (w) http://www.exeter.gov.uk/ramm Help Save the Seaton Down Hoard for Devon https://www.nationalfundingscheme.org/RAM002 Find out What's on: http://www.rammuseum.org.uk/Whats-on/ Buy our art online: http://prints.rammuseum.org.uk/ Find us on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/RAMMuseum Follow us on Twitter: http://twitter.com/RAMMuseum **************************************************************** website: http://museumscomputergroup.org.uk/ Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/ukmcg Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/museumscomputergroup [un]subscribe: http://museumscomputergroup.org.uk/email-list/ ****************************************************************
