Subject: Swets communication to customers
Dear Sir or Madam,
You will have seen the recent news about Swets Information Services B.V., and have received email communication about this, and I wanted to provide some clarity about current activities.
Unfortunately, Swets Information Services B.V. had to file for bankruptcy on 23 September 2014. The court of Amsterdam honoured this request and as per 23 September 2014 Swets Information Services
B.V. is declared bankrupt. Marcel Groenewegen of CMS has been appointed as trustee in bankruptcy.
We are currently reviewing various options in order to preserve as much of the inherent value of the business as possible and to continue the business.
Please note that at this time we also review the consequences of this bankruptcy on the activities of Swets Information Services B.V. and its foreign subsidiaries (the "Swets-group"). At this time, it is not possible to make any detailed statements in respect hereof.
In the meantime, we would ask you to ensure that you do not make any prepayments for 2015subscriptions to Swets-group until we have greater clarity about the future activities of the Swets group.
Any 2014 invoices should obviously be settled as normal.
Yours sincerely,
Mr. Han Stoop (Managing Director) and Mr. J.L.M. Groenewegen (Trustee)
