Hi Abigail,
I'm not sure how innovative this is, but we have an RSS feed of the latest ebooks added to our catalogue. Effectively, this generates a list of the newest ebooks we've purchased and I regularly promote this via social media, using the dedicated Twitter hashtag #ebookwednesday.
You can view our catalogue http://capitadiscovery.co.uk/mmu/ and follow the "View New E-books here" link, which takes you to http://goo.gl/yw2rKP
Hope that helps!
Regards,
David.

Subject: Promotion of E-books
We are currently reviewing the way we promote our e-books to students. At present we use dummy e-books (DVD cases with the book title, instructions and QR code) but this has often caused confusion with our students.
Does anybody use a different/innovative method to promote their e-books that they would be willing to share?
Also if you do use dummy e-books do you do this for every new title, and if not what selection criteria do you use to choose which ones to promote physically?
