Mimas, in conjunction with Thomson Reuters, have organised a series of **FREE** regional training courses aimed at providing an overview of the new versions of JCR and ESI on the InCites platform and the integration of their indicators in the Web of Science Core Collection, additionally the latest upgrades to Web of Science will be introduced.
Please be advised that this course is tailored for subscribers to the Web of Science Service for UK Education and is aimed at library/research support staff at these Institutions.
Course description.

The integration of JCR and ESI on the Incites platform enables users to perform Research Evaluation drawing on metrics and indicators from a variety of sources. The aim of this course is to present the features available in the new versions of JCR and ESI in order to evaluate research at the article, author, institution, country and journal level.
This course will explore the key metrics and indicators from each source and demonstrate the improved integration that enables users to combine indicators and seamlessly link to the source article in Web of Science Core Collection. Included is an Introduction to the latest upgrade to Web of Science with includes improved visibility of ESI and JCR data in Web of Science Core Collection and the addition of the KCI - Korean Journal Database.
