Dear FSL experts,
Based on the documentation, I tried to use a Matlab script to rotate the b vectors. Could I check with you whether this is the right way to do this?
rotX=[1,0,0;0,cos(thetaX),sin(thetaX);0,-sin(thetaX),cos(thetaX)];
rotY=[cos(thetaY),0,-sin(thetaY);0,1,0;sin(thetaY),0,cos(thetaY)];
rotZ=[cos(thetaZ),sin(thetaZ),0;-sin(thetaZ),cos(thetaZ),0;0,0,1];
b_new=inv(rotX*rotY*rotZ)*b_old;
thetaX, thetaY and thetaZ are rotations around the axes obtained from the eddy parameters file.The documentation does not specify the rotation matrices for rotations around the X and Y axis – so I used the standard definitions but am not clear about the sign convention for the rotations.
Thank you,
Monika
