Apologies for cross-positing...
Dear all,
We have extended the deadline for the call for papers for the ephemera special issue on ‘Organizing for the post-growth economy’ (http://www.ephemerajournal.org/ and the attached CFP). The new deadline for submissions is 31 December 2014.
As the recent global political agenda continue to be marked by the twin crises of economy and ecology, this special issue aims at exploring the possibility of an economic system that does not rely upon the prerequisite of perpetual growth. Since growth, however, is deeply embedded in the current economic institutions, the idea of a post-growth economy therefore calls for a reflection upon the basic constitutive concepts within the current economic system. We therefore invite papers that relate concepts such as work, management, entrepreneurship, innovation, consumption finance and depth, among others, to the idea of a post-growth economy.
Contributions should be submitted in the format of a Word document to the mail address: [log in to unmask] ephemera encourages contributions in a variety of formats including articles, notes, interviews, book reviews, photo essays and other experimental modes of representation. Further information about ephemera and how to submit can be found on http://www.ephemerajournal.org/how-submit. If you have any queries, you can also contact one of the special issue editors: Ole Bjerg ([log in to unmask]), Christian Garmann Johnsen ([log in to unmask]), Bent Meier Sørensen ([log in to unmask]), Lena Olaison ([log in to unmask]).
This special issue is associated to the ephemera conference ‘Organizing for the post-growth economy’ that took place at Copenhagen Business School, Denmark, 8-9 of May 2014. Conference participants as well as contributors that did not participate in the conference are encouraged to submit to the special issue.
On behalf of the conference organizers
