Hi everyone,
Just wanted to bring to your attention the Royal Asiatic Society. I have been working here for the last month and though they have a very competent librarian in Ed Weech, this is a first for the Society, in employing an archivist. The Society has a great resource for anyone interested in the history, languages and cultures of Asia and related subjects. I have been employed to sort, catalogue and make available online their archival holdings. I am in that exciting stage at the moment of opening boxes to find out what we have.
If you want to know more please contact me on [log in to unmask]
Alternatively, follow our blog at http://royalasiaticsociety.blogspot.co.uk/ (I've just posted about their new archivist) and of course we are on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/henry.colebrook) and Twitter (@RAS_Soc).
Looking forward to my challenge,
Nancy Charley
