Ketso is a hands-on tool for learning, project planning and discussing ideas, which is getting great feedback from people with dyslexia:
“I like the fact it is so visual, you can really see your ideas and the links between them and other people’s ideas. I like the way you can move the ideas around, it makes it practical and is more inviting than a list.” (Undergraduate student with dyslexia) www.ketso.com
Whilst I invented the toolkit to give everyone a voice in my community development research in Southern Africa, I expect it was in fact my own struggles with keeping words and letters in the right order that led me to create this moveable way to map out and organise ideas.
To celebrate Dyslexia Awareness Week (Nov. 3 – 9, 2014) we are offering a 10% discount on the entire Ketso range, if ordered during Dyslexia Awareness Week.
We have recently launched our new Mini Ketso – which comes in a handy wallet that fits in a backpack, ideal for project planning, revising and writing support.
For more information on how Ketso supports people with learning disabilities, and to download an order form with the Dyslexia Awareness Week offer see: http://www.ketso.com/LearningDisabilities
We would also like to give you the opportunity to win your own Mini Ketso, worth £115, by spreading the word about Ketso and dyslexia awareness week. To be entered into a prize draw for a mini Ketso, make sure your name is in the referral box on the order form sent in by people in your networks.
To help you share this information we have a twitter friendly version below:
Celebrate #DyslexiaAwarenessWeek w/ @KetsoLtd special offer http://www.ketso.com/LearningDisabilities A hands-on, visual tool 4 writing, learning & planning
We have also added a Ketso30 to our range to support teachers, coaches and counsellors who do lots of one-to-one and group sessions. This has all the leaves and icons of a Ketso24, which is aimed at large groups, but with 10 mini Ketso felts and Ketso planners instead of the large table-sized felts. Ketso30 is also great for smaller group work with 2 to 4 people working on projects together.

Best wishes,
Joanne
