Dear Colleagues,
between 27 and 29 May 2015 a conference will be organized on the
Environmental Archaeology of medieval and postmedieval European cities.
The themes that will be discussed include urban site formation, urban
environment, economic activities within town, and the personal life of
the town inhabitants (see below for a more detailed description).
The meeting will take place at the Natural History Museum in Brussels
and is a co-organisation of that institute, the Archaeological Heritage
Service of the Brussels Capital Region, the Université Libre de
Bruxelles and the University of Leuven.
Information on the program, registration, abstract submission and
practicalities could be found at the conference home page:
https://www.naturalsciences.be/en/museum/agenda/item-view/607
and the attached second circular.
Kind regards,
The organisers (Ann Degraeve, Yannick Devos, Elena Marinova, Wim Van Neer)
