Interesting that both of these seem to be arguing that children are a 'problem'. I'd argue that most museums, outside of targeted, programmed events, are actually quite dull for children despite them being the only places to engage with 'stuff' that isn't on prescriptive curriculum and that when it comes to STEM, it's clear that many people are so put off in their education that it's only when they have their own children that they'd think to even walk inside a science museum (in my humble opinion)...
