Listening to linguist Kristin Hanson talk about meter in poetry and duple and triple rhythms led to this lovely setting of Byron by Isaac Nathan, published in 1815.
Hanson comments that "She Walks in Beauty" is a duple rhythmed poem set to triple rhythmed music and "The Destruction of Sennacharib" is a triple rhythmed poem set to duple rhythmed music.

The tenor is lovely too.
