Hi Robin
At present we also provide an invigilator when a student has an exam with a support worker. This has been the norm for quite some time as we recruit our support workers from a specialised company Clear Links. They are trained externally to support the student but not to invigilate.
Im always looking for ways to improve our current set up so if you could circulate a summary of responses, that would be really useful.
Thanks
Lesley

Subject: Support Workers and Exam Invigilators
Hi everyone,
Sorry to trouble you!
I'm interested to find out if anyone users support workers as exam invigilators in one to one exams, or whether you require an invigilator to be present in addition to a support worker? We currently keep the roles separate and therefore require both to be present, but this isn't always easy to achieve and I'm looking at ways of making the organisation of one to one exams simpler.
Many thanks
