I would agree with that view. Surely a clinical record would contain personal clinical whereas you talk about anonymised clinical data in the form of stats.

Subject: When does a clinical record become corporate?
Hi all,
For those in the NHS - I am reviewing the evidence we submitted for last years IG Toolkit return, in particular requirement 604. Does anyone have any thoughts on when does a clinical record becomes corporate?
An example would be a national return including clinical data, that is not front line based information or directly effecting patient care. Would you class this as a corporate record? I am swaying on the side of 'yes' as it relates to the organisations business activities.
Any thoughts please?
Thanks
Jess
