Methodological Innovations Conference 2014
Creative and Critical Possibilities: methods, methodologies and epistemologies.
9 - 10 December 2014
Plymouth University, Drake Circus Campus
Methodological Innovations 2014 is an interdisciplinary conference focusing on methods and methodology, attracting a diverse audience of researchers and educators from the academic, public, private and third sector across different research disciplines.
It offers a unique opportunity to debate current and future issues of relevance, with delegates drawn from different disciplines and professional areas.
Key Speaker
Dr Angela Meah, University of Sheffield “Good morning video diary..." coproducing meanings of everyday life using visual methods'
Call for Papers:
The thematic areas are:
• Innovations in qualitative and quantitative research
• Issues of ethics
• Participatory Research
• Researcher-respondent relationships
• Issues/methods of data analysis
• Reflexivity and challenges in research
• Creative methodologies
• Open stream
'In addition the conference programme will include roundtable discussions'.
To present a paper you will need to submit an abstract (250 words) and biography (50 words) by Tuesday 30 September 2014 to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>. We welcome contributions from academic, practitioner and postgraduate communities.
Fees
Full delegate fee: £100
Discounted delegate fee: £70 (for postgraduate students and unwaged delegates)
This fee includes refreshments on both days
