As you may know, within the past few days a court in Amsterdam has placed Swets & Zeitlinger Group B.V. ('Swets') in administration and ordered suspension of payments. Given the uncertainty surrounding Swets' financial and corporate status, Cambridge University Press cannot be sure that it will be able to fulfil orders you place or have placed through Swets acting as your subscription agent. In light of this, we ask that you consider carefully your alternatives for purchasing Cambridge University Press products, whether directly through your local CUP sales office (listed below), or through another agent of your choice. We also encourage you to discuss your relationship with Swets with your legal and finance departments.

We are continuing to monitor the situation with Swets and will update you when and if we have further information. Please be assured that we will do our best to minimise any disruption to the ordering process for libraries who are customers of Swets, though if Cambridge University Press does not receive payment from Swets, your subscription order may be delayed or cancelled.
