Subject: [lis-e-resources] JSTOR Ebook Forum - October 6, 2014 - London - Sign up now!
Dear Colleagues,
Please join us for a lively, interactive discussion of ebooks!
Monday, October 6, 2014 - 9.00 - 15.00
Brettenham House, London
The ebook is moving to a new level of maturity as a delivery system for research content, and the issues raised by this rise are different from those of archival journals, in which JSTOR has long experience.
As we expand into the ebook market, JSTOR is eager to hear about your experiences and to facilitate conversation among our library colleagues. Jisc Collections has generously offered to help us bring this discussion to London through the use of their facilities.
Discussion topics include:
* Ebook acquisition models
* Publishing policies
* Discovery and usage
* Ebook preservation
Spaces are limited to affiliates of Higher Education institutions and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Follow the link below to register for this free Forum and make your suggestions on specific issues you would like to be addressed.
