Yes it would still be helpful Chris, if you had the LBS number recorded in your system for a building that had been delisted you would want to know new number to quote to us if you had a query about it

Logical - Yes. Helpful - No, unless they were marked as delisted...

Chris,
Its perfectly logical for them to appear on the concordance list. If a building was on the old LBS as delisted it will have had an LBS number, it will also have been migrated to the new Unified Designation System (UDS) and have a new number. However it won't have been published on the NHLE.

Further to my previous, I've been told that the 3 buildings I couldn't find had all been delisted - but were still on the concordance lists sent out in 2011! I'm not sure if they were marked as delisted in any way as I didn't read the whole file...

Hello Helen/everyone
If you notice any errors on any NHLE records could you email the details to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> and we will examine and fix any possible errors/discrepancies on a case-by-case basis.
You may be interested to know that since this process began, we have made amendments to the text of 6,130 records and the spatial depiction of a further 12,570 records. We have also removed 230 buildings from the List that have been demolished following LBC. We are also beginning to examine duplicated Listings such as bridges that have been Listed in two parishes.
You can read more details on the project here: https://www.english-heritage.org.uk/professional/protection/process/amending-an-entry/
With regard to your enquiry below, the Minor Amendments team are looking into it and will contact you off list.
Kind Regards

Subject: Listed buildings question
Hi all,
I couldn't think who to ask about this at EH, so hopefully someone will see this and help me. :)
I have noticed recently that some of our listed building records don't seem to match up with the National Heritage List. Today I found this one:
http://list.english-heritage.org.uk/resultsingle.aspx?uid=1075052, which has a 'date of most recent amendment' of 22/03/1991. However, I have an amendment on file dated 08/03/2010. Is the National Heritage List wrong? I was hoping to do some data cleaning on the designations part of our HER but I don't want to correct the 'last amendment' date to the one on the NHLE if that's not actually right all the time. I have noticed some inconsistencies with other records with the assigned date, too, but I assumed it was our records that were wrong!
Thanks,
Helen Wells
