HREA will offer three 6-week instructor-led e-learning courses on migration and asylum from October 2014-March 2015:
. Psychosocial Consequences of Migration and Asylum (1 October-11 November 2014) - This e-learning course introduces the psychosocial and mental health consequences of migration and the practical issues related to the provision of multidisciplinary culturally sensitive interventions. . Promoting Migrant and Refugee Integration (29 October-9 December 2014) - This e-learning course focuses on issues related to migrant and refugee integration in increasingly multi-cultural and multi-ethnic societies, including labour market access, family reunification and access to education and education support programs for migrant children. . Migration and Asylum (Foundation Course) (28 January-10 March 2015) - This e-learning course introduces its participants to basic conceptual and theoretical issues concerning migration, including migration's causes and consequences and ways to distinguish between different forms of migration. HREA's e-learning courses are based on a participatory, active learning approach and emphasise peer-to-peer learning. Students who successfully complete a course will receive a Certificate of Participation.
Costs per course: Tuition fee for participants: US $575; for auditors: $215
