Portum Adurni is the form recorded it the Notitia Dignitatum for a Saxon Shore fort. The choice seems to be between Portchester and Walton Castle. The order of the listing has been interpreted as indicating that the name of Walton Castle is missing from the beginning of the list and that Portchester would suit the geographical sequence as Portum Adurni.
Given the difficulty in correctly expanding an abbreviation for 'r'/'r'+Vowel, I would suggest that Adurn- is *Ad Vern- 'at the marsh' or 'at Vernum'. Nearby is Fareham - Fearnham [963x75]12th, Fearnhā 1086 (regularly interpreted as containing 'fern').
