Hi Paul and everyone,

I'm a Senior Lecturer and Director of Education for Social Work at Queen's University Belfast. Before moving to Queen's in 2008, I worked in mental health services in Northern Ireland for 12 years. My main research interest is mental health and I'm very interested in the associations between childhood adversity and mental health problems throughout the life course. I'm currently involved in two relevant studies, the first looking at transitions between Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and Adult Mental Health Services and the second is focusing on young people leaving care who have learning disabilities and/or mental health needs.
