Yes that is what we plan to do. I was just letting the list know in case they were considering something similar.

Dear Ann
One of the easiest ways to get the feedback would be to create an external survey (survey monkey or a Google form) with the questions and then embed it in an appropriate part of the Blackboard course that is only visible to your staff group.

Just to feedback it seems that a course survey can not be completed by staff so my feedback idea needs to be rethought.
Thanks team!

IF you have the community system then you should have access to "Enterprise Surveys"
You can use this to create a survey and then deploy it to some/all courses.
You can also define which type of users see it - so you could limit it to "Instructors".
This would then let you report against the whole lot of courses - might be a sledgehammer for a nut if you are only talking about a couple of courses and a handful of staff.

Hi Anne Marie,
You could create a group and put all staff in that group. Then you could either use the group tools to support this type of access, or just crate a survey and use the adaptive release feature based on membership to that staff group.
I think that should solve the problem. Hopefully you haven’t got that many staff to add in…
Best wishes
Peter

Dear All,
We're trying to get small group tutors doing a lot more in Blackboard.
As such we wanted to make some surveys for them to reply to within modules.
So far we can only do this by making them unavailable to students which means that staff have to go in to edit mode to be able to see them.
That is a little clumsy.
So I thought there might be a way of making a survey visible to a specific group- or in a group space- but that does not seem possible.
Am I missing anything?
