Dear all
This is a rather specific request that I hope someone might be able to help me with. I'm investigating the installation of blinds in our Library which is housed in a medieval building. In order to make my case for the need for blinds I need to have some quite specific information about how the blinds will be attached to the masonry. One company that I've been in discussion with has suggested that wooden batons are affixed to the masonry surrounding the windows and then the blinds attached to the wooden batons. My query is does anyone have blinds fixed in this manner and if so would it be possible to send me a photo of the fixings including the wooden baton? Any help would be much appreciated as I need this info in order to make a case to the Cathedral authorities to obtain permission for the blinds.
Many thanks
