Apologies for cross-posting!
Culture24's Let's Get Real conference returns to Brighton on Thursday 18 September, with speakers including Shelley Bernstein from Brooklyn Museum, who never usually appears outside the US. (She recently spoke to the New York Times about her dramatic decision to close down several of the museum's social network profiles: http://www.nytimes.com/2014/08/08/arts/design/museums-see-different-virtues-in-virtual-worlds.html)
The day looks at whether cultural organisations' websites and social media channels are fit for purpose, focusing on understanding user behaviour, understanding what to measure, how to demonstrate impact, and learning from failure. The infamous Crit Room also offers the chance to get a personalised expert critique of your website, with specific recommendations to put into practice.
